Bulkhead Replacement

You may have notice some barge-like equipment in the lake recently.  It is owned by Bulkhead & Piers, the contractor selected to replace the bulkhead adjacent to homeowner property.  They operate out of Kemah, Texas.  Only those residents who opted to have the work done are affected.  To date, 80 of the 150 waterfront owners have signed a contract to have the work done and 15 more are pending.  By agreeing to have the work done at the same time, each homeowner receives a discounted rate of $115 per linear foot, saving a considerable amount of money.

As a matter of general information, residents whose property backs up to the lake are responsible for it maintenance of their bulkhead.  This contracted job is a great opportunity to improve the appearance of your property and save some money.  As you can tell from the photos, all work is done from the water, eliminating the need to trample in the yards and remove the fences.
