Brightwater HOA Committees

Architectural Control Committee

Chair - Open; contact Dave Lemons, 281-499-0146

Preserves the natural setting and beauty of the properties, maintains a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing design for the Lakes of Brightwater and promotes the value of the properties, subject to the restrictions set forth in the ACC Guidelines and Deed Restrictions.

Communications Committee

Chair - Ruchira Paul, 281-261-2200

Facilitates internal and external community awareness of Brightwater's neighborhood activities and events, club meetings, Board and committee actions, and security concerns utilizing various communications tools, including but not limited to a periodic newsletter, a resident directory, electronic e-mail notices, a website and announcement signage.  Please note that only events directly relating to the residents or neighborhood of Brightwater will be accepted for print or electronic publication.
 

Finance Committee

Chair - Woody Woodson, 281-208-1137

Serves as an advisory body to the Board of Directors and gathers, analyzes and presents financial, audit and accounting recommendations to the Board through the Treasurer to enable the Board to make sound business decisions consistent with the HOA's current and future goals and objectives.

Operations Committee

Chair, Kent Hudson - 281-403-9269

Assists the Board of Directors in the planning, administration, maintenance and operations of all Brightwater Homeowners Association assets.  The Operations Group  works together with Projects and Planning Committee to ensure that the HOA assets are kept well-maintained and that future projects are developed and implemented in a manner that best utilizes the HOA's funds.  Operations coordinates day-to-day operations and regular maintenance of the Clubhouse, Lakes, Landscaping, Lighting, Parks, Pool and Tennis Courts.

Project & Planning Committee

Chair - Joseph Mauricio, 281-208-1501

Assists the Board of Directors in the planning and execution of refurbishment and improvement projects for all Brightwater Homeowners Association assets.  The Projects & Planning Committee works together with the Board and other Committees to ensure that the HOA assets are functioning as intended and that future projects are developed and implemented in a manner that best utilizes the HOA's funds.

Planning and Special Projects will develop and maintain a long-term management plan (10-20 years); medium-term project plan (5 years), prioritization list of refurbishment and improvement projects, and forward projection of expenditures (5-year plan).  The group will support all special projects to develop a coordinated and pragmatic approach to project development and implementation.

Social Committee

Chair - Open; contact Diane Giltner, 281-499-0695

Organizes and supports the Board on planned social activities, not only for the enjoyment of homeowners but also to promote fellowship, facilitate improved communications at social functions, and help interested residents to become more active in their community.
