Brightwater Newsletter & eBulletin
The Brightwater Reflections newsletter provides residents
information about the neighborhood, activities and scheduled events. It is currently being published six times a year
-- January, March, May, July, September and November.

The Brightwater Reflections Newsletter
is mailed to each home in Brightwater. It distributes timely information about organizations and activities that occur on
a regular basis and reports from the Brightwater HOA Board and Committees. The "What's Happening" section contains
announcements and notices about activities directly affecting Lakes of Brightwater. It also has a "Contact List"
for all officers, committee chairs, and municipal contacts.
According to the Editing Guidelines approved by the Brightwater Board of Directors, materials relating to
political, religious, and/or commercial endorsements are prohibited. Only news items of special interest to the neighborhood
can be included.
For a more complete view of the Newsletter's
purpose and guidelines, see Communications Committee Charter and Guidelines. For comments or questions, you may contact Communications
Committee Chairperson or the Editor.
If you have questions regarding the
newsletter or HOA communications, please feel free to contact:
Ruchira Paul, Communications Committee Chair, at 281-261-2200
or
Nancy Hudson, Brightwater Newsletter Editor, at 281-403-9269.
She can also be reached at nancyhudson007@comcast.net
We are always looking for new ideas and topics for the monthly newsletter. If you have an idea or would be interested in writing an article, please let us know.
The Brightwater eBulletin disseminates date-sensitive
information specific to Lakes of Brightwater homeowners who wish to receive such materials through email communiqué.
This medium has been well received, as about 50% of the subdivision homeowners have chosen to subscribe.
All communications are subject to editing for clarification or brevity and must be within the guidelines established
by the HOA Board of Directors.
Typically, the information falls into one of five categories:
■ Meeting & Event Notice
■ Security Alert
■ Subdivision News
■ Lost & Found
With these categories, you can choose to read or
ignore those that may not be of interest to you. All email messages are sent blind copy so as not to reveal the email
address of all those residents on a distribution list. If you have a spam blocking software on your computer, you will
need to adjust your settings to accept these incoming messages.
Non-acceptable materials include
political or religious oriented articles, individual complaints, announcements of meetings or events not directly related
to the Lakes of Brightwater and advertising of products or services.
If an article is submitted
that is not date-sensitive, it will be referred to the Newsletter editor, which is distributed quarterly.
The HOA Board welcomes your inquiries and comments. Should you choose to send such comments or inquires to
the eBulletin editor, your email message will be forwarded to the Board without comment.
